Well, you know, lots of NA members have shared information over the years and that has helped us grow. Since this is a personal website, it seems only fair to open doors that may be of use to others. At a certain point in my recovery, I realized that many of the members I interact with have not read the books that give me some basis for understanding. Not only that, they will never read them. Furthermore, they don't like the idea that someone may know more than they do and yet will still refuse to learn!
So, I have had to adjust my
attitude to respect and communicate 'completely' where the person I am interacting with
may not be aware of certain things. Study is not for everyone. Real life is pretty cool
too. So, I just have my say sometimes and that is enough for me. Still, there are many,
many others far smarter than I am and they write books. I want this to be one place where
people can come and get the straight cut on books that interest people like me, so please
share you thoughts and ideas with me. If you like, send some titles with the name of the
author and what you liked about their book and we'll install it here so that others can
benefit. - Bo Sewell
